Social media has become a fundamental element when talking about marketing. Social media such as Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn are resources that shouldn’t be ignore by any new company or idea, especially if we consider how they work as a bridge between the clients and the brand. This is why during this unit, the following key elements will be treated: What is social media marketing, why is it important, and what key social media tools, how to set clearly defined purpose beyond profit and the figure of the Community Manager: Storytelling techniques, influencer marketing, and mobile usage.

All along this unit, we will try to achieve the following learning objectives:

  • Define social media marketing and its different possibilities.
  • Identify the best way to set a clear strategy to accomplish objectives.
  • Be able to understand the concept of Community Manager and apply some of its techniques.
