Encourage participants to think about teamwork-related objectives they would like to achieve. These goals could be related to communication, collaboration, their roles/responsibilities or any other aspect of teamwork. Now ask participants to come up with their individual SMART Goals that they would like to set and accomplish.
Provide the participants with a sample goal, such as “Today I will call people” and then transform it into a SMART goal, like “Today I will call 10 prospective customers” (cited by Weintraub et al. 2021, p. 240).
